Everyone is alive now. Neku is 'talking' to Joshua. The 7 days later is just that. It is telling you that seven days passed(Neku probably had to play another week of the game, but you didn't) and Neku and his friends went back to the world of the living. Instead of erasing Shibuya like he planned, Joshua saved it.

I beat the game for the first time last night. I was so friggin' happy. Hated Shades, though. Does anyone know exactly what Neku says at the end of the game? I don't want to listen to this a million times and I can't find it on the internet.

I don't get the ending....so did they mean for the audience to interpret if everyone is still dead or alive again? And what happened during the 7 Days Later?
