@realtechreal hi mr real, let me first say VISTA IS OLD, Then let me tell you i have 2 of these HP laptops, with windows vista and both have software conflicts right out of the box. The machine I am writing this on is been converted dual boot to linux and vista . I only use vista for editing my video , and even that crashed 3 times yesterday alone. I use ubuntu for speed and security, I belive its open source nature lends itself to stability as does apple"s testing , similar to windows .

@realtechreal continued: WHL, BUT it is IMHO windows consumer grade "fit all" policy that reduces its speed and stability, no matter how much tweaking is done to vista, don't get me wrong , i still have beloved w2k machines.
