  • i think Asimov climbs a little higher though; his philosophies in all of his novels try to pinpoint particular areas of humanitarianism that do not apply to the secular elements of human history. He does this so well through his storytelling that it's not always easy to spot.

  • The English dubbing really sucks. It doesn't suit the story and the characters at all... What a pity ! They even changed some of the OST...

Watch the original, it is much better !

  • ...not that I'm complaining, but where'd the top half of his uniform go? and where'd the giant godzilla thing get the big blue blanket? this movie is rather bizarre, but not -bad-.

  • realy want to watch this movie! and I'm gettin ript the fuk off w/ all the cut outs!!!

  • @isar777 Kind of a sex scene, if I remember right there just both laying there naked talking and kind of flirting around. Still stupid to get rid of it, not like it was gory or anything.

  • @chuckinator11

That's what i thought, Avatar was a cross between this, Ferngully, Star Wars, Fantastic Planet, Nausicaa, Mononoke, Last of the Mohicans, Willow, Dune and Heavy Metal combined, isn't that right? Cameron did borrowed from those.

  • Hey, cartoon avatar from the navi's perspective!

  • there is a deleted sex scene in this chapter. why idk

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yeh I could deffinatly tell that Avatar was infulenced by this. The blue peaceful aliens, the beautiful exotic flora/fauna, the nature over techology message. Good stuff.

<3 Leeloo by the way and The Fifth Element is one of my favorite films

and no I have gotten around to seeing Nausicaa yet. I must do that soon.

  • @Johnlindsey289 I'm pretty sure that Ralphs Bakshis Wizards got a dvd release by means of a fan petition so its certianly possible.

  • @MythicDude

Speaking of which, this is another of Cameron's favorite animated movies and used it as one of his inspirations for Avatar. Other hot alien chicks are Sil from Species, Lee from Critters 2, the space vampiress from Lifeforce, Leeloo from Fifth Element, M'ress from Star Trek animated and more. Say uh did you see Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind yet? very similar to this movie and a great work of adult animated Sci-fi fantasy like this one too

  • @MythicDude

We should write to Lionsgate and Criterion to release this on Blu-Ray badly
