wanna see a "transitional" species that's still around today? Look at the cassowary.  To me it looks very much like its dinosaur ancestors--1/2 dinosaur, 1/2 bird, and possessing the necessary skills to survive in a world of vicious predators.

This idea that scientists have no clue how life began is ridiculous. If anything, there are TOO MANY theories on how it began. Once you've got a planet like earth, where the conditions are right, it's actually possible for organic compounds to form under several different circumstances. Clay theory, primordial soup, Darwin's "warm little pond," extreme heat, and extreme cold. And those are just the ones people have thought of.

If you can deny it you have more then a cultural problem, you are actually mentally incapable of discerning truth from falsehoods. If that is the case then trying to teach you the art of thinking is probably a lost cause.
