Former Vice President Al Gore is coming back to South Florida but not to talk about the 2000 election.


Instead, Gore will speak in November in Boca Raton about the climate crisis and environmental issues. He will give the presentation made famous by the documentary film An Inconvenient Truth and talk about his new book, Our Choice, that outlines ways to deal with the climate crisis, organizers said.

We are excited to have former Vice President Gore here in Boca Raton to speak on environmental issues. South Florida has an active and growing green community of students, businesses, and leaders. organizer Mark Kofod from B2BGLOBAL, said in a statement.

This event will be held at The Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park Amphitheater on Saturday, Nov. 14th, starting at 5:45 p.m.

The event is open to the public and tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.com or www.ticketweb.com. Tickets went on sale Thursday.
