  • You shouldn't buy an akita just because it can 'beat other dogs up'. That just shows the sign of an inexperienced and irresponsible owner. Akitas should be socialized as young puppies so they get along with other dogs and so they don't get into dog fights. An agressive akita is a product of an irresponsible owner.

  • I had an Akita, and she wouldn't fight the shitty little dogs. They don't really fight unless they feel they're under threatt. That Akita could rip them both to piecess... it just seems she's more interested in walking around LOL.

  • @bobzepie This is a very young, immature, Akita Inu, those two Pits are basically full grown. While it comes down to the individual animal, and I wouldn't fancy this Akita's chances against both of them. It would surprise you to see how much damage it would do to those Pits. Akita's are far more dangerous dogs than Pitty's. Thankfully, maybe because they don't look as aggressive as Pits and tend to be rarer, they don't tend to be the victims of irresponsible owners (tossers).

  • @bobzepie I'm against Fighting Dogs, and it's Pit-bull owners that talk like this that are the reason they are banned in many places. Which is a shame because if it wasn't for irresponsible owners the APBT is a excellent dog.

I think you are one of the types of people that think a Pit-Bull will beat anything. Not only would an Akita best it, but so would many other breeds. I suppose you think a pitty could beat a Kangal? A Kangal would bite it and just rip it's bloody leg off.

  • @bobzepie SO WHAT if a dog is purely bred for dog fighting, that sort of thing comes down to 'individual' dogs within a breed, and the only thing Pit-Bulls have going for them is that they are psycho, and don't stop at the point where other dogs will at merely putting the other dog down, they will keep going unless stopped until the other animal is dead, and you almost have to kill them to stop them. I know a lot about what I am talking about, and an Akita would own a Pitt-Bull.

    No contest.

  • Why get a pit bull when a giant size breeds like mastiff can easly take a pit put lol

  • ur yards too small for dem dogs
