  • Were paying for half a million people to be in prison over marijuana every single fuckin day.

I've never smoked weed, I'm a senior molecular biology student and I'm 100% pro legalization. Were not all potheads living in our parents basements.

  • Thats true! Less teens use in the Netherlands than use in the U.S.

  • I'm against the war on drugs, and I lean towards legalizing marijuana. But their is always one thing I never hear anyone talking about and that is the smell that comes from it (I personally think it's nasty). I just remember delivering food back in the day and once in awhile you step on a floor where you can clearly smell it in the hallway and it would make me sick. Are my rights to breathe clean air gone?

  • I'm extremely liberal, but I love this guy. If the republicans win in 2012, it best be this guy sitting in the white house.

  • as long as someone doesnt cause physical harm to anyone else he/she should be able to do whatever they want with their bodies even if it harms them and maybe if we legalise all drugs and even offer drugs to addicts through the government free of charge like portugal and netherlands do well run murderous drug lords out of business, get real help for actual addicts and maybe dumb, idiotic kids will stop thinking drugs are cool because its illegal and stop seeking to use them

    thumbs up and rate

  • that DEA's argument is gest stuped its a lot easer for teens to get ilegal drugs then legal druges drug dealers dont ask for ID gas stashens and liquer stors do

  • wow that dude from the dea is fuckin stupid. The Netherlands has legal weed, and they have a far lower per capita rate of marijuana use.

  • Real conservatives oppose the war on drugs. One of the primary pillars of conservatism is personal responsibility. It is not the taxpayers responsibility to pay for the mistakes of drug abusers. I don't know about the rest of the country, but here in Connecticut the vast majority of people incarcerated are incarcerated due to drug charges. This is a huge burden on the tax payer, small business, the market (etc.) Like gun control, drug control is useless in every sense of the word.

  • Yeah, its true in a sense a chunk of marjuana usage = Teens whom smoke due to their rebellous phase. I should know I am one of them lol

  • it is as if people dont understand that wiith Ron Pauls system, the people will have the choice to vote on these issues through their state government...so NO heroin wouldnt be legal bc no1 would vote for its legalization, and by Dr. Rons approach we would choose I LOVE THIS MAN!!!!!

  • that number is in the billions

  • Well the grain of salt to go with the poll shown in the last few seconds is that the demographics of people who reply to an ONLINE poll will tend to be skewed younger than the average American population (and probably much younger than the average voting population). That said, those numbers are still very telling.

The bottom line is this war on drugs has become a law enforcement farce, a tremendous waste of money, and it causes more injustice than it fixes.
