  • @ohjason10  - then why are the mic's at the top of the screen moving at the beginning of the clip?

  • all videos of this type were lip synched. microphones of the time were too bulky to hide, and the groups had always made videos without hand mics for a more natural look. the idea was for the viewers to imagine the group performing at their home church(only a handful of which had any sort of a sound system).

  • If you look in the beginning of the song you can see the shadow of a mic above J.D.'s head. why would they need to lip it? These guys can sing!
