l0l. dats muh name!

He did go down an awful lot for Everton though, and quite a few times there was no contact at all.
Anyway, my original point was about the small-club mentality of Everton fans - a player becomes a legend for them simply because he scored against Liverpool.

Can't really comment on Lucas and Mascherano, don't see them play very often, save for MOTD on a saturday night.
However, Johnson was given a bad rep in the papers for diving (the media was the main reason behind his reputation as a diver), but most of the time he WAS brought down. He didn't cheat, he just went down easier than he could have done. It's not against the rules, and it gets goals; why not?

@jkcool123 You're right, the facts don't, but if you only look at stats you'll have a jaded view of things, for instance Mascherano is currently the best passer in the Premier League, and Lucas is #2, Lucas also is the best tackler in the league according to the stats. Johnson had one good year like i said, but he always went to ground far too easy, he did like a dive, which is one reason he won a lot of penalties but also the reason why he didn't win that many after that season.

7 of those penalties he actually won himself, who knows how many he might have scored if he wasn't brought down. It just meant that he could add his brilliant penalties to his long list of talents.
His best performances were in the Championship, because they were against easier teams. He still held his own in the premiership, and was the 2nd best striker in the league. The fact's don't lie.
i agree. Go johnson
