July 12, 2009 and July 11, 2010, 34th Street, New York, New York

Twice a year the tall buildings on a few streets in New York create corridors that give the setting sun a spectacular venue.

  • and just think that thats the same sun that sets here...ill do a video in mi city for you too see how boring like yours mine would be :P cheers from Portugal.

  • @TRSF1 Do it, and post it as a response. Love to watch it.

  • @yvettegr i dont have time :D wen the sun sets in here im steel on the F**** 6th floor working my way out lol but one day if i remember ill do one!! wy i like the most is the perfect cross in the sun... is realy simetrical and the light almost at the end is perfect for crashes lol

  • @TRSF1 Leave early on that day. Have you watched my "Pater Noster" videos? They show Newton Rings caused by lens refraction when photographing the sun. Interesting effect.

  • This is why I live in NYC because its so awesome looking at the sunny sky or even at night because of the lights

  • @brokenskull192 I absolutely love NYC. I'm trying to arrange to go down to the completely preserved early 20th century subway stop so I can take pictures of it and do a youtube video about it. But, NYC has everything I like: Museums, restaurants, theatre, great people, views. You're lucky you live there.

  • Impressionnant !

  • I thougt it would be different.. better :D

  • I fear for the safety of the people preoccupied with photographing it and it must get a bit annoying for the traffic who wants to get somewhere in a hurry. Is there anywhere high up where people can photograph?

  • Good upload

  • New York has $350 fine for honking your car horn, but you would never know it, since it's almost never enforced. Meanwhile we have to be deafened by the constant barrage of noise.
