That's an ignorant comment Emma. This bird was bred in captivity, not taken from the wild. There is a demand for these animals as pets, and every bird bred in captivity means one less bird taken from the wild. Captive breeding SAVES birds, and will ensure this species does not become extinct.

Oh god, those birds are about 11,000 to 14,000 dollars. You're very lucky :,] Im hoping to get one of those, or a baby macaw Haha :D

This is the funniest thing I ever seen. I am getting a HY Macaw she should be here this week. I am so excited, how did you get her to dance like that?

Good luck with your HY they are beautiful birds but then I think that all of them are. Just by moving up and down to the music she just started to copy.They love to copy anything and most Hys love to jump up and down anyway.lol
