This does not work when making phone calls: the phone and the radio are conflicting each other, as we hear in the video at 1:43
Moreover, it looks like we need to have specific branded. I don't want to spend more money in another radio, as I already have one.

I'm interested in doing the same but how can I view the video if I don't understand Dutch? Any other way of getting info on your complete install from beginning till the end?

How did you connect the iPod connector from your headunit to the iPod mount?

This is a good set up. 9/10.
It would have been perfect if the cradle rotated to allow landscape use of your phone for apps such as tomtom or for watching movies while you wait at the train station to pick somebody up etc...

@nznative77 Hey thnx for the comment, I thought about mounting the cradle on the swivel thingy, but I was reluctant because it might be annoying; I wanted it to be mounted solid, without any moving space. But that is personal favor off course.

did you have to jailbreak the Iphone to use while music is playing? Or is it always just the Ipod-Funktions that don't work any more being connected with the alpine and the rest works fine?:) Would be great cause I heard different things about that!

@ViB33 I did not jailbreak my iPhone.

I think I have determined the problem. It appears the cable coming out of your radio has a round connector whereas mine is half round and half square. I maybe screwed!

Hmm, if you have all the cables that I mention in the video, you should be allright. I don't think that the connectors are different on the same 103-BT type headunit.
I can't think of any other solution :S
Good luck with it ;)
