You can see in this video baby shrimp hanging on to the mother. Seems like a long process for her to remove them from her. You can see one of the babies floating loose around by her.
They will most likely come out alive, but if you do have fish they will get eaten. The first stage of a baby ghost shrimp they pretty much float around everywhere if there isn't anything to cling on, so if you have a filter with a inlet pipe they could get sucked in too. So if you want to keep them you might want to separate them from the fish and use a sponge filter in the isolation tank.
