Terrific video of a fantastic layout. One of the best I've seen on YouTube. Great camera work and interesting perspectives. All of the ingredients for super entertainment. Well done!!

Hi,
Your layout is great. I'm working on a 12' X 18' (Just posted my progress) that is going to have the same Monorail that you have. Can you please tell me how you were able to elevate the Monalrail.
THANKS

StanGauge,
I just ran across your layout video and was enjoying how many different ways you were trying to arrange things. I am still going through that, too and plan to post another video in the near future.

Obviously, you need to raise the Detroit Leland Monorail because it won't clear any accessories. I had a welding shop make up posts 10" long and weld on 1" tubes just the size to receive the original posts. The original bases take up a lot of space so I bought threaded rod extenders- basically long threaded nuts. They are bolted to the board from below and hold the posts pretty well. When the monorail runs fast, it does sway a little.
I painted everything I made to match.
