This is the same recording as the one listed on YouTube as being from Munich in 1965. One of the dates is wrong. But it's beautiful ... both times.

A very nice voice but Price is better in this aria.

I heard her sing this role so many times when I was a kid in NY and noone, but NOONE sang the "Sortita di Cio-Cio.San" like her. Every single time it was at least as good as it is here. Most of the time it was even better. The greatest FREISCHÜTZ Agathe ever. For me Lorengar was as close to being a perfect singer as you can get.

Agree 100%. It is ironic that Lorengar's legacy had to wait for Youtube to come out of age in order to be recognized as one of the best singers ever!
