It took alot of doing to get Ms.O'Hara to perform in this film..but Thank God! Mr.Hughes and his scriptwriter and Ms.O'Hara's brother did.

The reason why Mr.Candy could perform in drama and in comedy..is that..he was a clown..not a circus clown..but an actor.Who perform pathos and comedy very convincingly.In the style of Red Skelton,Jackie Gleason,Lou Costello and Chuck McCann.
