I signed into YouTube just to comment on this. Bravo to Brennan's Dad, and to Brennan. Can't wait to see him on Broadway, hope that it is part of his ultimate journey. I hope that it ends at Yale or at some other university. He has the kind of talent that is more born than nurtured, but I would love to see if he could teach it to others! As a rabid a cappela fan, he is the best thing that I have heard on sing off to date!

What does 11+1 mean?

@avafiery The year beside the name is the year of graduation; '11+1 means that 2011 was the year graduation would have occurred but a year was taken off (a "gap year") and graduation will now occur one year later. This convention is used to distinguish from '12 for a student who did not take a year off. 12 of the 14 members of the Whiffenpoofs of 2011 have taken the 2010-11 year off due to the substantial time commitments required of Whiffenpoofs.
