@illinifan512 Macy's is crap! I went in with my friend who actually liked the m store, on black friday and was horrified to see a pile of clothes under tables in the men's department. You'd NEVER see field's torn apart like that! serves the m store right for screwing with the best! people don't respect it and their poorly trained employees.

At our Macy's (former Marshall Field's) in Schaumburg IL, there is a section in the basement floor that still has the old green Marshall Field's tile on the walls. I like to visit that spot often. They still sell the Marshall Field's chocolate nearby.

Wow, Marshall Field's really was a class act. It's been four years since Macy's came into town and I have NEVER stepped into a Macy's. I wait for the day that Marshall Field's comes back to State Street.

Macy's now has aquired the old Dayton's here in Minnesota-they remodeled all the luxury out of one of my favorite shopping experiences. I think our local Macy's looks like an overpriced K-Mart.
