Neutered bucks run a lower risk of testicular cancer just because they don't have that organ anymore! Think of your husband: Older men also run a risk of having testicular cancer. Think of your teenage son: He is rebellious and not as sweet as before. Why don't you neuter them?

@sageme13 For male rabbits you should get them neutered at around 4 months of age, or whenever their testicles drop.

For female rabbits they should be spayed when they are 6 months old (or some vets prefer to wait until the rabbit weighs at least 1kg).

U sure know Ur stuff. I kept rabbits at boarding school MANY years ago. We had a lovely Dutch blue buck, New Zealand whites, others & I have a good knowledge about rabbits, a very strong liking interst as with dogs cats foxes & other. I never knew a doe could re-mate the same day as giving birth so you've tot me somit. Some rabbit owners think giving lettice to rabbits is good when it's not as it's very rich & can cause collic bloating of the gut.
