  • Oh my god! That's amazing... Fucking hell. Lucky little cunts they are like. I'd kill for Mavers back at my gaff. I'd have him playing all night...

Away Lee, give us some dates at some small venues round the North.

  • fuck me what id give to be there, theres the reverend in the back aswell, class man.

  • Lee's lyrics are absolute cosmic one of a kind

  • stop clappin ya dicks!!!

  • @Picardy Oh, another one was Freddie Mercury. He was still hitting the same notes in his 40s as he hit in his 20s, again, without much effort. Even when AIDS was getting the better of him physically, he still maintained an incredible range that was every bit as powerful and dynamic as his younger days. Incredibly, he too was a lifelong heavy smoker. Vocalist who use their "throat" seem to fair much worse than the ones who sing from their diaphragms/stomachs

  • @Picardy Not true. Genetics ensure that the so-called "facts of life" don't apply to everyone. Robin Zander from Cheap Trick, for example, effortlessly sings in the same keys/pitches as when he was in his early 20s, both live and in the studio. In fact, the band recently performed both sides of Sgt Pepper's album live in Vegas and Robin sang both the Lennon and McCartney parts in the same key as the original recording. Robin Zander is 57, a full decade older than Mavers, and is a lifelong smoker

  • Just makes me sad, such a massive, massive talent. That first album and all the subsequent demos were better than The Beatles at album 1, 2 and maybe 3 stage. What would he/they have done with a George Martin?

  • Like all of us as we get older the key we sing in needs to lower. It's just a fact of life.

  • Thank you for this video, if this happened in my house, I think I'd probably die.

WOKE UP WITH A FEELIN' I FOUND ME LYIN ON THE FLOOR!
