and the caravan park.......right at the entrance was the slaughter house - I think it is still there - you arrived to the screams of the animals about to be killed - sometimes they escaped and ran through the caravans - lol - it is true - slaughter house and raw sewage pumped into the sea...welcome to Saltcoats

those were the days - raw sewage pumped straight into the sea at Saltcoats - I remember paddling amongst the used condoms, sanitary towels and jobbies.......

Unreal. I used to beg my old man to take me down to the wee motorbikes every week when they were there!! That brought back some great memories. Around 1min 35secs is where we used to sit with our chips at lunchtime from Auchenharvie. Great, great days!!
