c'mon letterman, we all know that the "disclaimer" is going to disparage/make fun of dr. phil in some way. couldn't you have made it somewhat clever? that was a pretty bland piece of predictability.

@Gornin8 He has a doctorate in psychology, which is why they call him doctor, and he use to have his own practice.

@Gornin8 Uuuh He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. A Masters degree in Experimental Psychology and a PH.D in Clinical Psychology. I think He's a Dr.

Notice they showed the audience? That's what happens when Letterman does something on the show that ties in with something that happened with the audience before the show started taping. It's an in-joke of sorts.
