  • Hi I'm glad you like it. I would love to hear the story behind this song. I got crazy when I found they recorded my Late Grand Uncle Lonnie Coleman's song [Boom Boom Boomerang] that he wrote back in 1949. All the time I was growing up listening to that song I never knew what group it was until I was 17 I doing some research on the web when I was in School.

  • I love this song and the ladies performing it.

  • No one can ever capture the unique sound of these ladies. I was enchanted by them in 1954. They still make my heart tremble.

  • STILL loving this song!

  • maravillosas

  • I was a teenager when the De Castro

    Sisters were popular.

I also like this song by the Queen of

    the Ballads" Joni James.

  • This is a long shot, I know, But do you have in your fab. collection- Patti Page singing "My jealous Eyes."???

    Thanks!

  • It had to be a shock to learn that the very song you enjoyed was written by a relative! That is so neat. Life is full of surprises!

  • awpianoboom, you'll never know just how much I appreciate you posting this! Now, every evening while I am preparing supper (the southern people call the evening meal "supper" :) I put this on the speakers and lo and behold, it makes my chore a fun time. I go back... Sooo glad you took the time and trouble to post. Forever greatful. God bless!!!!!

  • "Too Late Now" is the Oscar-nominated song from the 1951 MGM musical "Royal Wedding." It stars Fred Astaire, Jane Powell (who sang the song in the movie), and Peter Lawford. Music by Burton Lane and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner.
