Fair point. Perhaps I was a bit harsh;I get carried away sometimes. My apologies.
But any suggestion that Palin is a normal, decent person makes my blood boil. She is an evil ignoramus and to suggest that Cleese is uninformed because he pointed out that she is a deluded moron is not necessarily that accurate.
Unfortunately, your politics influences the rest of the world, always unfavourably, and many of us non-Americans follow your politics much more than most US citizens and media.

Please learn to read before you reply to posts with such hostility. Understand that I AGREE WITH YOU! Cleese, unfortunately, goes down the uninformed road of mainstream media. It's easy to do this, especially for cleese and his ilk, since he's an entertainer.

On what basis has cleese determined that palin has no understadning of what she is "parroting"?
That she is attractive? That she is conservative? That she does is in the govt/media complex? That she is a woman?
This interview seems scripted to me. cleese tries to come off with his comments and ansers to questions as off-the-cuff but they are, in reality, rehersed, just like a comedy routine.
cleese is a funny guy but an uninformed commentator on american political issues.

Actually upon rereading, I think you mean she ABSORBS light. That might explain the 24hrs of darkness in Alaska in the middle of winter. Or maybe they meant the four years of darkness for her aborted (Hey isn't she AGAINST abortion? Did God or Jesus ask her to abort? I digress...) governor's term...

Thanks for understanding and agreeing with my stance. The sad fact of the matter is that the right wing media has cordoned off too many US citizens, and brainwased them. They will never listen to reason or the truth. Anything that doesn't go along wth their way of thinking is a lie. Most like me have givien up. Thanks for seeing that bush didn't have unanimous support of the US people.Your anger pales compared to that of my fellow citizens who believe in the tenants my country was founded on, when we rebelled against the cruel imperialists of your commonwealth.
