As part of her interview for a journal update, Kiva / HSPFI borrower Ann Lagrada in Camiguin, Philippines kindly showed us how she slices up a fresh sea cucumber and starts prepping it for processing. She will sell the dried sea cucumbers to a buyer for $1,500 pesos per kilogram, and the buyer will in turn export the dried cucumbers to Korea. Filmed on 10/26/09 by Eva Wu, KF9 Philippines.
