Yanni - After the Sunrise

This is part of After The Sunrise by Yanni. I modified the ending as I did for my cousin's wedding. It was much slower and sounded much better w/ stereo system. I wish the sound was better, but it's all I have to work with right now. I want to post other things, but the camera is limited with bass tones. I wish it wasn't, but it is what it is.

it was beautiful, thank you. just curious, was it always easy for you to make things up when you're playing or did it take practice? i have a few pieces that really allow improvisation, and i'll hear in my head what i want to play but it takes so much thinking to figure out the chords and the notes that match and i end up with very little progress. haha... any advice?

I am not one to give advice, but I really admired the way Yanni and Enya filled cords with their left hand. I have some sounds in my head as well, but its a lot of trial and error when I try to play it. When it finally comes around, I am elated. After the Sunrise is actually sheet music I just rearranged to my liking. There are other songs I can improvise, but it took practice though. I usually get the melody with my right hand and figure out what base cord to match.
