@NATERTATER38 It's good to use a heat protectant spray or cream to lightly coat your hair to protect it from the heat

I agree with the other chick that said u shouldnt flat iron your hair wet... Best advice i can give u is use 100% natural oil for ur hair. If ur interested hit me up i'll explain to u y

Never, every flat iron wet hair (unless you're using a wet/dry flat iron) or put grease in your hair prior to flat ironing. The sizzling and smoke is your hair COOKING!

@Tyler0321 no, wash and condition, blowdry or air dry, add a protective spray or creme of some kind... i like garnier fructis, then section like you did and straighten
