THE HURT LOCKER is a riveting, suspenseful portrait of the courage under fire of the military's unrecognized heroes: the technicians of a bomb squad who volunteer to challenge the odds and save lives doing one of the worlds most dangerous jobs. Directed by Kathryn Bigelow, the film stars Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Brian Geraghty, Guy Pearce and Ralph Fiennes. THE HURT LOCKER opens in select theaters on June 26.

I'm ashamed that theres americans and britons on youtube insulting each other even though we are allies in an armed conflict. Young british and american soldiers and fighting and dieing side by side against a common foe, just like in WWI--WWII. Yet, we have little kids insulting each other over stupid shit like who had highest to kill to death ratio at D--Day like its Call of duty, absolutely pathetic.

@TehAaronJanes Your probably right(I have not seen the movie yet). However keep in mind that movies need to have a certain mood to them: The movie isn't meant to show the humble and kind average citizens. It is meant to be a high-tension atmosphere. Most movies play off stereotypes; there is not enough time in a 2-3 hour movie to present a broader spectrum. I have heard the movie is kick ass. Our culture is FUCKED-UP though, and it's a shame that this movie may be contributing to it.
