Try to relax more then being so intense when your drumming, it might help being more accurate.

That's probably mostly just what they look like. There isn't much lighting, so of course, there will be minimal shine. Or maybe they're made with a traditional finish rather than brilliant. Or I know that Sabian makes some AAX Dry cymbals that are just unlathed, but these don't look that much like them
