  • wonderful and brilliant!!

  • Thank you very much for your appreciation! BZS

  • My father, who passed away 11 years ago, used to tell me stories of how he played violin in the same high school orchestra as Mr. Baker. Please tell Mr. Baker that Isadore Zenziper's son wishes him well.

  • Will do! I am under pressure with the holidays and lots of work, but will call him in the next few days and let him know.Best,

    BZS

  • R.I.P Mr. Baker

  • First of all, thank you Barbara, for this wonderful video.

Although I am heartbroken by his passing, I have my father's recordings to comfort me and my everlasting recollections.

  • RIP, Mr. Baker, and thank you.

  • Excellent. Maestro Baker bears an uncanny resemblance to my violin teacher. I need to write a short profile on him on my blog!!!!

  • @bzeislschoenberg Outstanding interview!! I now know why my Father liked Israel so much!!!!!!!!! Thank You for posting!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I loved watching him, hearing him and seeing this wonderful record of his work. A legend among Hollywood studio musicians, he gave generously to those whom he felt deserved it. His thoughtfulness is well remembered. His discography is enough to recount his absolute brilliance. Bravo to a warm lovely man and a great violinist. Happy 91st Birthday belatedly too.
