An extra credit Rube Goldberg project.
3x3x3 to include 3 simple machines (bonuses for making it make sound and include a cartoon or TV show theme.)
It rolls a down down a ramp which turns on a MP3 player via a neat little lever and plays the opening them song to the Simpsons and pulls out the cork of a funnel filled with sand. The sand goes through a chute and out a tube into a cup mounted on a lever. As the sand fills the cup the weight of the sand pulls the yellow ball on top of the post off and raises the flag. The yellow ball then drops and pulls the string on a holiday popper and POP!

6 3 foot dowels
1 funnel
2 Batchi balls
tubing
wood screws
super ball(was the cork in the funnel)
electrical tape
string
plastic water bottle
water bottle lids (as a hinge on the scale & a to hold the yellow ball on the post)
1 mp3 player and speakers
8 eyelet hooks.
sand
1 holiday popper.

6 hours.
