In Battersea Park, between the River Thames and the Battersea Children's Zoo, stands The Peace Pagoda.
The pagoda houses a sacred Buddhist shrine, with four different statues of the Buddha gazing out from each of the cardinal directions.
After driving along the river and passing the pagoda many times, this morning seemed the perfect time to have a closer look.
