  • @rockandfloyd dream theater sucks fucking ass. dont ever post that shit on my video again

  • if only their album sold and they stayed together

I wish a commercial radio station would play this music and see what the reaction would be from their listening public. I can't imagine people wouldn't love it. It's brilliant, it rocks, hell - you can even dance to it... well sort of... : )

  • been killing time for over 30 years listening to the studio album and still doesnt want to die!

  • @ScottLoiselle Saw once thoughts on these by BB himself. He said that there were 2 types of musicians out there: Those who think that the ultimate purpose of a musician is to guess what the audience expects and give it to them, and those who just do what they feel like doing and hope the audience will follow. Him and AH were in the second category while EJ and JW were in the first. BB thought that would give a tension in the band which could lead to some great things. In a way, he was right…

  • @pobinr Wow, that's a different point of view! It wasn't just AH, BB was equally discontent. EJ & JW wanted to go 1 way, AH & BB another. The irony is after AH/BB left, the same thing happened to EJ & JW - Wetton wanted to go even more commercial (strong hints on songs like "Nothing to Lose") than EJ, and indeed did so with ASIA. I think the world of all of them! And Holdsworth didn't exactly starve. What is money worth if it doesn't buy the feeling that you want the life that you have?

  • I remember late 70's. A musicians mag, name escapes me. In wanted section everyone was saying..looking for such&such a musician to play UK type stuff.UK really had such strong following then.Shame Holdsworth not prepared2 'compromise',if only to earn a decent living then concentrate on his own projects outside of this.Silly man.Christ I mean it's not exactly a shit job compared to what most of us have to do for a living.Instead he practically starved to death & UK fell apart after the 2nd album.

  • allan on guitar? sounds like it... good quality recording! thanks!
