@Creolebway wow me too i have stitches now lol but i was thinking steroid injections but that shit didn't work so im gonna find out what i can use like a castor oil or something man im so tired of keloids

How should i care for my keloid. just got out of laser surgery and have an open wound. my doctor said use hydrocortizone topical cream and we r doing injections and pressure earrings . i cant put my earring on since its so sore and open wound. how to address this problem? is hydrocortizone good on the wound?

i have had my keloid almost 10 yrs and been removed 3 times. just got out of surgery for 4th time. now i have a penny sized base wound on the back of my ear from laser. I am taking steroid shots for next 2 months and got an ugly ass embarrassing pressure earring to wear. I can stand this shit! all cuz i wannted fake ass diamond earring when i was a youngster, now im paying for it big time!. my mom always says, "hard ears kid feel pain" shit. i didnt know she meant LITERALLY

I got a Keloid when I was 18 Yrs Old In 2009, Size Of A Grape on the back of my Ear... So embarrassin Tried EVERYTHING !!! NOTHING WORKED.. Order Sum Surgical Sciccors online.. held ice on ear 10 min ,burned scissors til it turned red.. then I cut it off and pour a bottle of WARM seasalt water on my ear... I picked tha keloid up in threw that shit in the Garbage my ear Barely bled or hurted..every nite I put a bandage on it for 8 months... 11 months later no keloid and ear looks 80% BETTER!!

@babiimak3r Well, when I had mine done it was flat and the scar tissue is currently healing from it. I had radiation done three times as well and so far it hasn't returned but my radiation doctor is constantly checking on it and making sure that it's not coming back. Im also getting steroid injection. I guess it all comes down not how hard your Doctors take care of you, my Doctors always want me to comeback for checkups and even give me rides when I don't have trasnsportation. good luck:)

@rudeboyazab it returned to at a smaller size then before and different form but it is still noticeable.

Dr Ellis responds: With good surgical technique and the close apporximation of tissue, we hope to minimize keloids. Once they start to form we partner with our plastic surgeons to minimze/revise them as best as possible.
