Visual Basic 6.0: TextToSpeech (Also in NotePad)

This is a tutorial on how to use Microsoft's built in TextToSpeech function in Visual Basic and NotePad.

when I put in a text box vb crashes please help,

note I am running windows 8 beta aka windows developer preview, that I got from another video, everything else works just not text box

Visual Basic 6.0 has trouble running on Vista let alone Windows 8 so there is your problem. I would recommend you download VB.NET instead as it should be supported I think.

I have the real vb 6.0, not portable version. but combine the two and it works. :) both together makes it work. and that and the problem could be the I made a mistake and installed the 32 bit 8 in my 64 bit laptop. so there was a few errors, but 32 bit does work on 64 bit laptops.

mine wasnt working until i got rid of my option explicit so if its says variable not defined get rid of it if u have it
