How could you fall for this? This is just a scam. If you really had that much toxic in your body you'd be dead along time ago. The water will turn rusty or change color defending on how much salt you put in it whether you soak your feet in the water or not.

You are a moron. It is physically IMPOSSIBLE for toxins to come flying out of skin pores. This is electrolysis. Test that water, it's pure iron. I suppose when a car rusts, you think that's "car toxin?"

@•All but a very few of the "toxins" produced as metabolic products are colorless— suggesting that what you see during these "treatments" is put there for show.
-
•there is no way an electric current passing through a part of your body can distinguish between "good" molecules and "bad" molecules ("toxins"), most of which are electrically neutral anyway;
•the skin is impermeable to all but a few chemical substances; there is no evidence that any that are found inside the body can pass through the skin to the outside, with or without the help of an electric current.

The latter tends to soften skin, allowing it to flake off, pick up various colors on reacting with the metal ions, and complete the illusion that one usually pays dearly for: individual treatments can be from $50 up, and the grossly overpriced power supply "machines" sold for home use can go for more than $1000. (You could of course build your own power source from parts obtainable from Radio Shack for around $35; wikihow How to Test a Detox Foot Bath

You place your feet in a bowl of water to which a bit of salt has been added. A small electric current is passed between two electrodes immersed in the water, which soon becomes quite discolored. The color, of course, comes from electrolytic corrosion of the metal electrodes. These are usually made of iron, nickel, and copper, all of which decompose into colored ions.

@tamtbell I personally did not believe it either BUT now after 4 years straight, I cannot see myself not doing them. When I miss more than a week, I actually began to feel the difference. I got involved with the field of whit did for me. Most body aches gone, I had hay feaver since I was a kid but haven't taken a pill for 3 years. I have treated fiber mialgia patents who were on the pain patch and after 6 months, they had almost aliminated almost ALL THEIR PAIN MEDICATION. And lots more.

@clover2810 If you do not want the brown color, use salt without iodine. If you have a machine, why do you not do treatments for several months once a week and find out if it helps, hurts or does nothing. Then you would at least be speaking from experence like I am. I have done it for 4 years straight and gotten amazing benifits from it

@eddybaby58 Eddy, you have the circut backwards. The "ground" is to create a simple electroplating type process. The array creates ions with both a positive and negitive in the water. The wristband charge, in my machine it starts positive then turns negitive draw the ions up thru the giant pores in your feet, nothing more. The color is a byproduct. The ions work on your body for up to 48+ hours after you take your feet out of the water, eliminating thru natural channels. Forget the water color!
Wow! What scam is that ION DETOX CRAP! I just got an article to read about this SCAM!
The detox is pure myth! Yesterday I tried to do the same 45 minutes session with my detox unit, and what a shock I got... The water was even worse then with my feet in the basin!
People, do not let the ION FOOT DETOX professionals clean your pockets and your wallets!
