i dont know if its blacks that dont tip.. i get tipped by a lot of blacks.. its LOWER CLASS URBAN PEOPLE WHO DONT TIP.. i work at a high end restaurant next to LAX.. which is next to inglewood.. the beach and downtown coperate people tip usually regardless of color.. the ghetto crowd doesnt.. and more often than not the ghetto crowd is black..

(They make it worse upon themselves when they blame the customer for shitting on them, for not tipping them & giving them a part of their wage, when the customer hasn't shit on them at all, since the customer shouldn't be doing that, tipping, in the first place, outside of paying the bill itself!)

@MrAp: Whatever my server deserves to, & should, be paid is hardly the point. What planet do you come from where you think that you deserve money that does not belong to you & that you did NOTHING to earn?!

I admit that I rarely go out, to eat; but, that doesn't keep me from eating out ever. If you were my server and you wanted a tip from me you'd get one upon finding my spit dangling from the end of your nose!

@SpookeyR If your server is paid the $15 an hr that they deserve, your $8 or $9 burger would end up costing you over $30. Tipping is not a scam. It keeps the cost of food down. Tips are paid for the SERVICE of being waited on. You tip/pay for that person to wait on you. If you don't want to pay the person for the work they're doing for you, stay home and do it yourself. They're working for you when they take your order, bring your food, and all the other things you have them run for.
