There is only ONE tram line in Istanbul. The final stops are Kabatas on the Beyoglu side and Zeytinburnu on this side of the Golden Horn. Since it took a bit of trial and error for us two dolts to figure out exactly how to get the jetons (tokens) out of the automatic machines, we thought this video would be of interest.

The fare is 1.50 Turkish Lira no matter how fare you ride on the tram.

  • Is this the T1 Tram?

  • @FlagshipQM2 Not sure. But when you get to Istanbul, there was only one line that ran around the perimeter of all tourist sights. My posts on this trip won't begin running for another two weeks and you'll be gone. Have a wonderful trip. Love Istanbul. Best regards, Travels With Sheila
