This video contains words spoken by former US president George W. Bush, and pictures of him and the war victims he has made. It is time for Bush to appear before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for crimes against humanity.
Although i did not support Bush's policies I do not agree he should appear in front of the ICC. Him being charged of war crimes would make worsen the American image as it goes down in history. Yes Iraq war was wrong but Americans are paying for his mistakes. By the way ICC, dont try to arrest him, he is protected by the Secret Service & acts against former US presidents is still an act of war against the USA.
@wtong89 The criminal record of the US in violating human rights, hijacking international institutions as the UN and the disrespect vor the sovereignty of nations is a too long list to go unnoticed. What really harms the image of the US as 'the protector of world peace' as Washington procliams, is the fact that Obama has granted GW Bush amnesty one day after his inauguration. When you steal something $1 worth, you appear in front of a judge, when you start illegal wars, it's all ok. Crazy world.
Americans are not subject to the ICC, they are subject to the Constitution. The US Constiution forbids foreign powers intervening with the US govenrment, thus GW Bush is an American, he does not comply with ICC. Listen i understand Bush started an illegal war, i do not like or support his policies, but I do believe in the Constution and what it stands for. The fact is US is the worlds 911, if you want us to keep responding, youll have to accommodate our views.
This country is hijacked by the super rich elitists and the big corporations which they own. They have the politicians in their back pocket. There is very little a common US citizen could do because the election game is rigged. Republicans is opposed to tax the rich even though the wealth inequality has been widen and the rich already paying record low tax rate in historical scale. Corporation like GE makes 14 billion dollars profit while paying not a penny in tax. There is little you could do.
@pahtai11365 This point of fatalism is exactly what the ruling class wants us, the masses without ownership of capital, to reach. It is true that there are vested interestes and powers that be. However, those powers want us to be poor, demoralized and affraid, because this make us dependent on the owners of capital, and the interests of the working masses are set up against eachother.
The 8-hour workday, the legalization of unions, the vote. All examples what the power of the masses can do.
GE didnt pay any taxes because all their profits were mostly outside US jurisdiciton. Which is legitimate under the US law. But your theory on Republicans, i concurr
