  • kinda pointless to haul a trailer just for a tent you could use a tent cot which is very close in comfort to a bed and its alot cheaper, lighter, and more portable. and it also takes less time to set up and put away.

  • @slapoutz Sure, if this was 'only' a tent you'd have a point. But the tent and king size+ bed is one feature. You also get a huge kitchen, with sink - tap -water, food storage & 4 burner cooker, massive storage area, 2 x 60 litre water storage tanks, power and more.

Sometimes all you'll need is a 4x4 and tent cot for a night here or there. On the other hand the Adventure trailers are set up for remote & long term travel, in addition to overnighters.

  • if it was me i just get a slide in the back of a truck camper then hall this thing and just use a utilty trailer bring the boat or atv and more things im shoure that trailer the tent end up getting moldy and it useliss because its only good for one thing

  • @vivitar45 Hey good idea. We also make a 'TrayTop' camper which is very similar to the trailer, but slides on the back of a truck, so you can also haul your boat etc.

You can check it out on our website at adventurecampers (can't post direct links)

Let us know when you're ready to buy, we'll organise shipping to Canada for you ;)

  • just looks like alought of work and things that will just brake i think a pop up tent trailer is better and more room and less work

  • Thanks for your thoughts. Regarding things breaking the proof is in the pudding. We've been building these trailers for hard core offroad travel for 15yrs.. they don't break.

In fact we have a hire fleet that goes into the some of the harshest places on Earth in the Australian Outback year after year. We only give them basic servicing over that time then after 3-5yrs sell them for not much less than RRP when they were built.

A popup tent trailer would never survive such a torturous life.

  • Are you @%#*' kidding me ......just way too complicated ... for a tent ! and WOW , what a contraption just to haul it around ...its a TENT !!!

  • just way too complicated ... for a tent !

  • Just buy a truck camper - problem solved !

  • @slapoutz Kinda pointless to haul a tent.. All you need is a sleepingbag.. You see where im getting at? Its all about how comfortable you want it to be.. With this kind of trailer you have it all, but you still can go offroad..

  • @panedia i mean i could see one of these if you werent on the ground, not sleeping but your in more danger, like tents that set up on top of the trailer you then dont have the problem of snakes, aligators, etc. if you happen to leave the door open. that is kind of the point of a trailer so you will be off the ground. but with a tent that is on the ground i couldnt justify buying that.

  • ??? complicated, pop up tent trailer is better...
