It is a great clip but I would really like to get some audio of Bud Guest's The Sunny Side of the Street as I used to listen to it when I was a kid in the 50's.
The baseball game shown in the video was played September 22, 1965, in Tiger Stadium. The football game, also in Tiger Stadium, was played October 17, 1965.
WJR died when JP died. The only chance, the only chance it has left to revive itself, bring back JP's son, Jamie. He was on like 12 years ago and was so funny.
OMG, Bud Guest and Charly Park! Charly had one of if not the smoothest deliveries I've ever heard. Bud Guest hosted "the Sunny Side of the Street" on WJR. Bob Reynolds, "Rapid Robert Reynolds" who broadcast the Lions and the Mich St. Spartans. The very young Ernie Harwell!! Great videos all three.

Don't forget the voice of Ray Lane and the end of this segment.
