i got the medium version...but i always wondered- what's the pou on that one...i know jeff (cutlerylover) uses the xl as an emergency tactical/defensive blade...but for what else could this amazing knife be useful for? (carryability considered)

@PaiRaiUno Just think of it this way: you can do small jobs with a big knife but you can't do big jobs with a small knife. Carry this knife and you will be covered for whatever comes your way. It is a higher level of readiness. Yes, it can be carried easily and without strain (where legally allowed of course). The legal issues are the biggest limiter on this knife.

Can you remove the thumb stud? If you can will there be a hole in the blade where the stud was? The reason I am asking is I want to try to loop a zip tie into the hole where the stud was to try and improvise a wave feature. What do you think?

@Red1Storm I tried it and to my surprise I found you can unscrew the thum stud and remove and it does leave a hole which a zip tie or something similar could potentially be used to make a speed opener. Good call.

great knife for the money? Your videos are outstanding. Is there a way to get them to a higher resolution to go full screen on the laptops?

@EnduringEagle I am still on a tape camera (Sony Handycam). I use the same tape and just re-record over old reviews until the quality drops and then I buy a new tape. Usually when I click full screen it will go to 720 but on this one it only hits 480. I guess its time for a new tape. Sorry. Next one should be better.

german knife laws are f'ing strict though, not even one handed opening is allowed, still carry a lot what one may consider "above the law", reasonable preparedness i call it.
