I agree with cadillacdude. This man is simply a genius of the trumpet and the standard of which trumpet players (especially classical) will be judged. Players like Clifford Brown, Lee Morgan, Miles and Chet et al. brought something different and very appealing to the table, and there are amazingly gifted players out there now inspired by those giants, but I know of no one who can deliver cross-genre like he does. I wish more people could appreciate what this man has accomplished musically.
