the community theatre that i'm part of does this song every memorial day weekend for a show called "A Salute to the Troops". they do this song in a three part chorus. its so beautiful and heartwarming. it makes you think about what our soldiers think about when they feel that they might not be coming back.

@signwalker12 I know. For awhile this song was hard for me to listen to because of my brother Kevin going to Afghanistan...then he came home, but he was injured. He's fine now but I completely understand completely. That's so cool your town does that

I am a very emotional person, however, some things that would reduce me to tears might not you. People express their emotions differently. Oh my god, I love this song and John Barrowman. I didn't even know he sang! I just knew him from Torchwood and I'm doing this song for my vocal class! I was surprised to see him on here.
