Activity around Collier Yard near Petersburg, VA 5/1/82. Clinchfield SD40 3014 and 2 SBD C30-7s; a southbounder with a gray C30-7 and GP38-2; SW9 152 hauls a train into the yard.

  • Probably dumped all of their sand on moving that one cut of cars. You can see it puffing around the sanders.

  • @csx2295 Yes. I've always liked the sound of a GE which sounds like an Alco and either of them will pull the guts right out of an EMD and save a whole lot of diesel while doing so. I love EMD's too but GE bashing gets sickening and pretty stupid after awhile.
