@NGUpremier Games, high-end video editing, 3D CAD and animation, etc. Those in high-end professional industries need software like Eyeon Fusion or Avid DS, and even to those who don't (ex: people using Adobe products available on both OSX and Windows), a true professional would tell you that what really matters at the end of the day is the underlying hardware's horsepower and scalability. Entry level Mac Pros start at $2500 for a quadcore Xeon with 3 gigs of RAM.
