My HK-T500 on 4 cells. Hobbymate 1700kv, 120A HXT ESC, Turnigy servo's, GY401, AR6200, DX-7. Video by my wife and commentary courteous of my 5 year old. Come and join us on ircportal.ning.com
Too right...the 4 cell setup was nice and docile, easy to fly and very stable. On 6 cells...as you said, it's a weapon. Scares the buggery out of me. LOL
@differenceofkoala Blade tracking is how the blades track against each other , i.e - if they follow each others path correctly. If you notice in my video, you can see that one blade is higher than the other, so the tracking is out. If the tracking was correct, you wouldn't see a gap between the two blades. It helps make the heli run more efficiently (less drag) and keeps it balanced.
@Burdo1 I have just gotten my HK500CMT flying. On six cells it is a weapon. I am running Turnigy 3000mAh 6S 30C packs in mine. I have had to relocate the battery tray back and down to fit them under the canopy.

I am surprised how well a 500 flies on only 4 cells. It still seems to have plenty of lift.

@Revorob Thanks for that, I was surprised also. I've just set it up on 6 cell. It's allot more aggressive now.

Your blade tracking is really bad.
Do you know how to sort this out? if not just reply

@WebsterFlyers Yeah I know, I've just upgraded the head with a CNC metal head, and its all good now.
