EF1 Tornado In Bayside / Flushing, Queens, New York City, September 16, 2010

I had just unboxed my brand new Nikon D5000 camera and decided I would try to take photos of lightning. But the wind grew stronger than I had ever seen and I decided to take a video instead. Excuse the bad language. My brother and I were freaking out.

*Update* So apparently this storm was classified as an EF1 Tornado, and my neighborhood Bayside/Flushing, experienced stronger winds than most of the city. Other tornadoes touched down in Middle Village / Forest Hills and in Brooklyn.

i would love to see that... i lived in queens whitesone for alongggggggggggggggggggggg time and i never seen a tornado till i went to texas and thats scary cause i was under the funnel luckily it never touched down it was just a small rotating funnel cloud it was crazy

i thought the brooklyn tornado was an ef 2 tornoda because the winds were 125mph
