Railfanning Lisgar GO station. 9/18/2011

So once again I went up to Lisgar GO station in the town of Meadowvale, Mississauga to see Mike (trainboi21) and by surprise, Curtis (thecprailfan1) was there with him as well.

1. CP 247 - CP 8520 (GE AC4400CW) & CITX 3081 (SD40-2) lead a short eastbound Autorack/mixed freight train from Buffalo to Toronto through Lisgar GO station. After this train passed us, the Hot Box Detector (HBD) shows that CP 247 had a "hot wheel" meaning one of the wheels/axle was trailing smoke on the south rail on the north track, so CP 247 stopped between Lisgar and Meadowvale GO station just over two miles apart.

2. CP 142 - CP 9575 (GE AC4400CW) & CP 6055 (GMD SD40-2) lead an eastbound Intermodal train from Chicago to Montreal with horn action from the engineer.

3. CP 254 - CP 8537 & CP 9673 (GE AC4400CW) lead a short eight car coil train westbound from Toronto to Binghamton with a great Nathan P3 horn.

4. CP 240 - CP 8870 (GE ES44AC) & CP 9738 (GE AC4400CW) lead an eastbound mixed freight train from Chicago to Toronto.

5. CP 140 - CP 8533 & CP 9730 (GE AC4400CW) lead an eastbound Intermodal train from Detroit to Montreal with a wave from the conductor.

6. CP 131 - CP 5907, ICE 6456 "City of Kansas City" (SD40-2) & CP 9004 (GMD SD40-2F) lead the westbound Expressway train from Montreal to Milton Yard (Hornby) with a horn salute from the engineer and a great lash-up. The Hornby Expressway terminal is just west of Lisgar GO station past Ninth Line.
