  • My Dad stationed at Petawawa during WW2 as a lieutenant with the royal canadian engineers...is this a ww1 or ww2 truck?

  • @rzwilli i am not sure if any of thoses realy participated at the war on the field, they where amo hauler at first. WW2 period.

  • There is two of those in the woods behind my grandfathers house both Chevys and both rusted really bad. I'm thinking of taking the good parts from both and making a half decent one. Good thing that he also has a couple of straight 6 engines identical to the ones in the trucks in a building

  • @macewen01 good luck with that, take picture/video and show that to us !!

  • LOL, that's fucking cool as hell. I'd get her running again but leave the beautiful patina like it is! Funny, it reminds me of a Unimog with the square cab and the little drop in the "hood" right in front of the winshield so the driver can see better. Only is has a much weaker engine than the 'Mog would have, and smaller wheels. Is that a 4-cylinder? Sounds geared all to hell. Is it 4x4 or 4x2?

  • My Dad had one of these at his old VW workshop in Moorabin , Melbourne, Australia.

Used it to pick up the remnants of old beetles and Kombis before we new what they would be worth some day. All gone now, although I believe someone restored the truck.
